Occupational Therapist - Certified Hand Therapist (CHT)

About the Job:
Provides occupational therapy services to outpatients with non-complex and complex upper extremity/hand diagnoses.
What You’ll Do:
Evaluates patients including subjective information, objective information, assessment, prognosis, and goals.
Develops and implements treatment plans and educational programs for patients. Updates as needed.
Processes all necessary insurance documentation.
Communicates effectively with providers, staff, patients, and families.
Discharges patients as appropriate
Utilizes EPIC systems.
Demonstrates positive engagement in providing the best customer service to patients and staff.
Seeks appropriate input as needed.
Requirements
Graduate of accredited school of Occupational Therapy required.
3-5 years of direct Upper Extremity/Hand experience preferred.
Certified Hand Therapist preferred.
Graston Certification preferred
CPR Certification preferred.
Current (or pending) licensure in Occupational Therapy in the State of New Hampshire required.
Experience in fabrication of static and dynamic splinting.
