Hand & Physical Therapy of Wyoming (H&PTW) is excited to offer a unique opportunity for a full-time Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team in Buffalo and Sheridan, Wyoming. We’re looking for a motivated clinician who is eager to grow professionally and build meaningful connections within the community and with fellow healthcare professionals.
Ideal candidates will have a passion for upper extremity rehabilitation and the opportunity to develop or advance hand therapy skills through mentorship. You’ll have the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with a team of highly experienced therapists who provide ongoing mentorship and support. This role is perfect for a PT interested in specializing in hand and upper extremity care.
Job duties include evaluation/re-evaluation, developing an appropriate plan of care, and providing evidenced-based treatment methods to assist patients in returning to prior level of function. Furthermore, the physical therapist is required to maintain accurate, up to date documentation and billing. Comprehensive knowledge of the structure and function of the musculoskeletal system, and experience with various post-operative protocols, and wound care experience is preferred. We encourage and financially support specialty certifications and fellowship training. This is an excellent opportunity to work with highly skilled therapists, in a dynamic and refreshing environment, with 1:1 care provided to our patients on a 40–60-minute schedule. Compensation can be negotiated based on experience, certifications, and specialties.
Qualifications
- Proven work or clinical experience as a physical therapist
- Previous experience in treating upper extremities and hand therapy or special interest in this area; mentorship will be provided!
- Intensive education and clinical expertise
- Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
- Current knowledge of treatment practices
- Drive to continually learn and grow
- Professional behavior
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Valid license to practice physical therapy (willing to work with limited license until full licensure comes through)
- Graduate degree or greater in physical therapy

Compensation: $82,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year; can be negotiated based on experience, certifications, and specialties.
Sign-on bonus of $10,000!
