Description
UF Health Shands Outpatient Rehab Services is dedicated to providing excellent patient care to individuals throughout north central Florida. Through comprehensive rehabilitation programs, we hope to create a safe and comfortable environment that empowers individuals to manage their care independently, return to a functional lifestyle and improve their quality of life. We are dedicated to treating our patients with compassion, creativity, respect and confidentiality. Our rehab centers accomplish this with close working relationships between our referring physicians, therapists, support staff, University of Florida College of Public Health and Health Professions and the University of Florida Athletics Program. Our therapists provide rehabilitation services and education to patients. We offer continuing education, journal clubs, staff mentoring and the ability to be involved with student clinical education and our UF Health accredited residency programs in Sports and Orthopedics.
Our outpatient adult rehab center is a comprehensive facility providing physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy to the high school and adult population. Our specialties include orthopedics, neurology and pelvic health. At our Magnolia Park site have a wheel chair seating clinic and pool therapy programs. We are opening another adult rehab center in early 2026 at San Felasco Tech City located in Alachua, Florida.
