Position Title: Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist
Location: Asheville, North Carolina, United States
Department: Outpatient Clinics
Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist (PT) | Full-time | Outpatient | 1308 B, Patton Ave, Asheville, NC 28806
At Physio Physical Therapy and Wellness, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care through a multidisciplinary team approach. We are seeking a specialized Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist to join our outpatient clinic, where you will play a crucial role in treating patients with pelvic floor dysfunctions.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of pelvic health conditions and be passionate about improving the quality of life for clients through tailored therapy interventions.
Your Role:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients experiencing pelvic pain, incontinence, and other pelvic floor disorders
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans that address specific patient needs
- Utilize manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and education to promote healing and recovery
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure patient-centered care
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Requirements
- Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current state license or eligibility to practice as a Physical Therapist
- Specialized training in pelvic floor therapy (e.g., coursework, certifications) is highly preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
